February can start to get us a bit down here in Northern Illinois with the cold, ice and “dirty” snow. But, there are plenty of things to do around McHenry County when it’s cold outside, whether you want to be outdoors or indoors. Here are a few of Glacier Realty’s favorite things! Snowshoe at Glacier Park, Richmond

Snow Shoe Rental Once there is 5″ of snow or more rent a pair of snowshoes from Lost Valley Visitor Center in Glacial Park. Rentals cost $10 all day. Drivers’ license and $20 cash deposit required. Rental Hours: Currently 10 a.m. with last rental at 2:30 p.m. - building closes at 4 p.m.) Men’s, women’s, and children sizes available; first-come, first-served. For info call 815-678-4532.
