DORENE SWANSON

A life-long resident of McHenry County, Dorene lives in the McHenry area with her husband and daughter and has two adult sons that live in the area as well. With a strong faith as her guiding compass, Dorene loves to serve others by helping them achieve their hopes and dreams, and live their best lives! Dorene has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Criminology, a Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and Licensed Illinois Real Estate Managing Broker. Dorene brings years of well-rounded experience in the real estate industry to the team. Dorene started her post-college career in the social services field and transitioned to real estate in 1992. Since that time, she has been an active real estate agent, worked as administrative support and manager for multiple real estate companies, managed a title company, and served as a real estate paralegal. Dorene has also worked in social services, working with children and adults with a variety of abilities in the community, the school system, and in behavioral health in the hospital setting.
JACOB COOK

Growing up in Juneau, Alaska amidst the backdrop of steadfast and enduring glaciers, Jacob was inspired to create a group of companies that reflected these same timeless qualities. After working long summers building homes as a student, Jacob graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Finance and then spent over 7 years at one of Northern Illinois’ largest regional banks specializing in the analysis and origination of multi-million dollar residential and commercial loans and servicing a diverse commercial real estate portfolio of over $40 million. He then went on to operate his own successful residential construction and real estate services company, Glacier Investors LLC, which assisted private investors in the acquisition, rehabilitation, management, and disposition of real estate investment portfolios before partnering with Jeremy to form Glacier Construction, Inc., a commercial carpentry company serving national customers such as McDonald’s, Starbucks, and Pet Supplies Plus. For nearly 10 years, Jacob has served as a real estate agent at prominent brokerage firms in the area helping homeowners buy and sell homes in McHenry County before establishing Glacier Realty with Dorene and Jeremy. In addition to being an entrepreneur, avid cryptocurrency investor, and Licensed Real Estate Managing Broker, Jacob enjoys serving as a leader at his local church, playing golf, and spending time with his wife and 5 children in McHenry.
JEREMY PABST
Co-Owner
Prior to co-founding Glacier Realty and Glacier Construction, Jeremy spent over 20 years as one of the most decorated and successful salesmen at a national distribution company on Chicago’s North Shore. Jeremy excels at managing projects and people, and applies those attributes managing all field operations across several crews and jobsites for Glacier Construction. A talented musician, Jeremy serves on the worship team at his church in McHenry and enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and 3 children.
